Selecting the required data from AA

1. Upon logging into AA, navigate to Tools and then click on Data Warehouse.

2. Under Data Warehouse Request tab, give the required details (i) Request Name (ii) Reporting Date (iii) Select the Segment

(iv) Under Breakdowns, select Custom, and then select the dimension against which you want the data. For example, choose User ID (eVar 48). (v) Under Metrics, select Custom, and then select the metric you want to fetch. For example Timestamp (UNIX) (Instance of evar7) (vi) A preview of the output can be seen in the Report Preview window.

Delivery destinations

To Email inbox: Under Schedule Delivery, in the "Send To" field, give the email address as a destination, give a File Name, and Scheduling option - Send Immediately/ Monthly/ Yearly. Then, check the checkbox (if needed) and click on "Request this Report". Your report is now requested and should land in your inbox as an email attachment.

Alternatively, "Advanced Delivery Options" can be selected which opens up the below window in a new tab. Upon choosing Email as a Report Destination, input your email address and then proceed to Schedule. After clicking on Schedule, you will be taken back to the Data Warehouse Request tab where you need to make sure to click on "Request this Report". Your report is now requested and should land in your inbox as an email attachment.

Advanced "Scheduling Options" are available too giving more options such Delivery Frequency; Start and End date etc.

After finalising the schedule options, click on Schedule. You will be taken back to the Data Warehouse Request tab where you need to make sure to click on "Request this Report". Your report is now requested and should land in your inbox as an email attachment.

To SFTP:

To enable an SFTP as a destination, the SFTP should have a key based authentication enabled.

Setting up Lemnisk SFTP :

For Adobe Analytics to talk to Lemnisk SFTP server, Lemnisk SFTP should have a key based authentication. AA team will have to share this public key with Lemnisk team and the same will be configured in the Lemnisk SFTP configuration to enable key based authentication. Once, the SFTP setup is done, give the destination details - Host, Directory, Username & Password and click on Schedule. After clicking on Schedule, you will be taken back to the Data Warehouse Request tab where you need to make sure to click on "Request this Report".

Checking the Request status

To know the status of the report requested, navigate to Request Manager tab and search by Report name or your login username. Search result will have the status of the report requested along with the Request Date.
