Getting started with Linkedln Insight Tag and setting it up

When you enable the LinkedIn Insight Tag destination in the Lemnisk web app, your changes will appear. If you already had the LinkedIn Insight Tag’s snippet installed on your page, you should remove it. The LinkedIn Insight Tag Destination doesn’t use any Lemnisk API calls (e.g., Identify, Track, etc.), so you’ll use the site-wide Insight Tag.
LinkedIn Insight Tag Setup
Step 1: Log into the LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
If you don’t have a LinkedIn business account, sign up for one now. Once that’s complete, go to the LinkedIn Marketing Solutions page. From the Advertising dropdown menu, select Sign in to Campaign Manager.
Step 2: Click the account name for which you’d like to set up website retargeting, conversion tracking, or website demographics.
Step 3: Now, Create an Ad Account to access the LinkedIn Insight Tag and provide the required information. You will have to find the tag once the Ad Account is created.
Step 4: Get the LinkedIn Data Partner ID.
Step 5: From the Campaign Manager for the account, open the Account Assets dropdown menu. From there, select Insight Tag and move on to the specific tag.
Step 6: From the Manage Insight Tag dropdown, select See Tag.
Step 7: Click I will use a tag manager.
Step 8: Your partner's ID appears in the box below. Click the box to copy your partner ID to your clipboard.
Step 9: Lemnisk Setup After you get the partner ID, log in to your Lemnisk account and follow the below steps to configure LinkedIn Insight Tag with Lemnisk.
Step 1: Navigate to Connect > Connections > Destinations.
Step 2: Click Create Destinations.
Step 3: Select LinkedIn from the Catalog pop-up and click Continue.
Step 4: Select a source from the list and click Continue.
Step 5: Type the name of your destination and click Create Destination.
Step 6: In the Overview tab, click Add Sources. Select the sources from the list that appears.
Step 7: Go to the Configuration tab and paste the partner ID in the box provided.
Step 8: Click Update Destination.
Lemnisk lets you change these destination settings from the Lemnisk app without touching any code.
