Create an RCS Campaign

Step 1: Create an SMS Engagement

  1. Go to Campaigns > Segments

  2. Select the Segment Name

  3. Click on SMS on the left panel

  4. Click on Add Engagement

Step 2: Add General details of Engagement

  • Engagement Name (mandatory): Enter a name for the Engagement. It should range from 6-25 characters.

  • API: Choose the required API from the dropdown list.

  • Label (mandatory): Choose a product label from the list. Click here to learn more about Product Label.

Step 3: Add a Goal

Goal Type: Choose a goal type from the list. You can set it to none if the goal is not decided yet. To know more about Conversion Goals, follow this guide.

As you begin to enter the data in each section to create an Engagement, the section will turn red. Once all the information in the section is entered, the section will turn green. You can complete the sections in any order, but the sections must turn green before you click on Update Engagement.

Step 4: Configure parameters

  1. Template ID: The Template ID will be fetched from the configuration we made while adding the RCS.

  2. Attributes: You can add personalisation attributes in engagement if present in the RCS Template.

  3. Select "+ Add Params" if you'd like to add more parameters.

Step 5: Schedule Settings You can schedule an engagement to send later or trigger immediately when the engagement goal is achieved. To learn more about Engagement Scheduling, click here.

Step 6: Save Click "Save" to save the Engagement.
