Notification Bot

Notification Bot enables marketers to make personalized communication for the users from their website even before logging in. This notifies the user about the products and their offers based on their actions and interests, significantly attracting users to take desired actions.

Steps to Create Engagement for Notification Bot Channel

Step 1: Create an engagement

  • Go to Campaigns > Segments

  • Select the Segment Name

  • Click on Notification Bot on the left panel

  • Click on +Add Engagement

  • Go to Campaigns > Channels

  • Click on Notification Bot on the left panel

  • Click on +Add Engagement

  • Select Segment Name from the list

  • Click on Confirm And Proceed To the Next Step

Step 2: Add General Details

  • Engagement Name (mandatory): Add a unique name to the Engagement. It must range between 6-25 characters.

  • Language (mandatory): Select a language in which you prefer to communicate.

  • Conversion Goal: Choose the conversion goal which can be either Page or Track

  • Enter the Event: Enter the event from the list in which you want to trigger the engagement.

  • Title and Description: Create a title and description for your engagement using the given formation options.

  • Target Link: Paste the target link in which the notification has to be triggered. Use @ to choose macros to personalize the parameters in the URL

  • Label: Select the label for your engagement from the drop-down list.

  • Avatar: Upload the image that you want to display in the avatar.

Step 3: Button settings

Text: Type the text to be on the button.

Target page: Paste the target link to which teh button should redirect. Use @ to choose macros to personalize the parameters in the URL

Background and border color: Choose the background and border color for the button using teh color picker. You can add multiple buttons if needed by following the same procedure.

Fallback: Fallback is a feature to communicate user with the desired message in case of engagement failures. Follow the same steps as explained above to create an engagement under the fallback and click Save.
