Role Based Access Control

Role-based access control (RBAC) is a security model that defines access rights to resources based on the roles of individual users within an organisation. In RBAC, permissions are associated with roles, and users are assigned to appropriate roles. This approach simplifies security management by allowing administrators to manage permissions at the role level rather than assigning permissions to each user. This will allow you to utilise features like COV and Funnel exports to their full ability by displaying data like a list of users in Segment, Emails, and Phone Numbers in a controlled environment.

Role-based access control enables the following actions

  1. Adding a user to the platform.

  2. Assigning/Changing the role of a user.

  3. Adding/Editing a particular role.

  4. Remove a user from the platform.

Initially, you will explore Role-Based Access Control as an administrator. To get admin access, contact Lemnisk's customer support team. Once you obtain admin access, you can provide it to multiple users as needed.
