Banner Personalization

PreviousNotification TemplatesNextCreate a Personalized Banner

Last updated 1 year ago

With the Lemnisk Marketing Automation platform, you can create personalized banners for each visitor based on their interest, preference, and real-time action. You can also create a common default banner as a fallback. In order to customize a banner, it must already be present on the webpage. To display similar banners to visitors in the same segment, you must have an enabled segment with banner personalization. Refer to guide to create a segment.

Default Banner

Suppose you haven't created any segment and want the clients to interact with a default banner. In this case, you can create a default banner for those visitors. To learn how to create a default banner, click .

Personalized Banner

Use case

Let's say a customer shows interest in a particular credit card. S/he logs in but drop off from your website. When the customer returns to the website, you want to re-target him/her with personalized information stored earlier. The moment s/he lands on your webpage you want to start targeting. One way to do this could be by showing his/her name alongside with their personalized information. The button will redirect the customer to the step where s/he dropped off. As a result, the conversion steps are reduced.

Pre-requisites of Banner Personalization

Banner Code: In addition to having the Java SDKs placed on your website, Lemnisk will share certain banner codes with you. Lemnisk will be able to render that banner within hours of implementing it.

Slots in Banner Personalization

Let's assume you have a banner on the home page and on the product page. The banners will be different for each page. The slot structure of these banner varies depending on the domain or website on which they are displayed.
