Step 1: Create an SMS Engagement
Go to Campaigns > Segments
Select the Segment Name
Click on SMS on the left panel
Click on Add Engagement
Step 2: Add General details of Engagement
Engagement Name (mandatory): Enter a name for the Engagement. It should range between 6-25 characters.
Label (mandatory): Choose a product label from the list. Learn more about product label here.
Choose SMS Client (mandatory): You can choose to configure SSP. Lemnisk shows the one you have selected by default.
Step 3: Add a Goal
Goal Type: Choose a goal type from the list. You can set it to none if the goal is not decided yet. Know more about Conversion Goals here.
As you enter the data into each section to create an Engagement, the section will turn red. Once all the information of the section has been entered, the section will turn green. You can complete the sections in any order, but the sections must turn green before you click on Update Engagement.
Step 4: Configure a Template
Template Message (mandatory): You can create a template message to send communication to the users. You can personalize the template. To add a target page, use SMS_LP Macro. Click here to learn more about Personalising Parameters.
Template Preview: You can preview your SMS templates. Move your cursor to Show Preview to see how the SMS would look on different devices. The preview is updated in real-time. You can view it on Mobile and Tablet mode.
Content Template ID (Applies only for Infobip): You must enter the Content Template ID while configuring your SMS engagement through Infobip which is applicable only while configuring engagement with Infobip.
Step 5: Schedule Settings
Schedule: You can schedule an engagement to send later or trigger immediately when the engagement goal is achieved. To learn more about Engagement Scheduling, click here.
Step 6: Save Click "Save" to save the Engagement.

Once you create an Engagement, you can neither change the name of the engagement nor the schedule settings.
