Create an SMS Campaign

Step 1: Create an SMS Engagement

  1. Go to Campaigns > Segments

  2. Select the Segment Name

  3. Click on SMS on the left panel

  4. Click on Add Engagement

Step 2: Add General details of Engagement

  • Engagement Name (mandatory): Enter a name for the Engagement. It should range from 6-25 characters.

  • Label (mandatory): Choose a product label from the list. Click here to learn more about Product Label.

  • Choose SMS Client (mandatory): You can choose to configure SSP. Lemnisk shows the one you have selected by default.

Step 3: Add a Goal

As you enter the data into each section to create an Engagement, the section will turn red. Once all the information of the section has been entered, the section will turn green. You can complete the sections in any order, but the sections must turn green before you click on Update Engagement.

Step 4: Configure a Template

  • Template Message (mandatory): You can create a template message to send communication to the users. You can personalize the template. To add a target page, use SMS_LP Macro. Click here to learn more about Personalising Parameters.

  • Template Preview: You can preview your SMS templates. Move your cursor to Show Preview to see how the SMS would look on different devices. The preview is updated in real time. You can view it on Mobile and Tablet mode.

  • Content Template ID (Applies only for Infobip): You must enter the Content Template ID while configuring your SMS engagement through Infobip which is applicable only while configuring engagement with Infobip.

Step 5: Schedule Settings

Step 6: Save Click "Save" to save the Engagement.
