Gupshup is one of the leading conversational messaging platforms widely recognized in today's marketing world for its mind-blowing ability to engage users. Gupshup provides a robust SMS API that is capable of sending and receiving text messages without latency, with a strong network of direct carrier connections in over 225 countries. Gupshup facilitates reaching the audience at scale with personalized bulk messages to pitch your business. This API is capable of handling peak loads without any latency which ensures mission-critical API and other confidential alerts with rich text & media without failure.

Configure Gupshup Messenger with Lemnisk

To configure, Click the + icon and select Gupshup in the Client dropdown, You will find a window to configure your Gupshup Messenger. Give inputs to the below-mentioned fields to configure your Gupshup Messenger for your SMS communication

  • Client: Gupshup Messenger will be visible as you configured which is read-only.

  • Name: Enter connection name. This connection name is internal to Lemnisk which will not be sent to SMS API.

  • User ID: Enter the user Id which is provided by the Gupshup team.

  • Password: Enter the password provided by the Gupshup team. Contact Gupshup and get your User ID and Password in case you haven't received them yet.

  • Webhook URL: Copy the webhook URL and paste it into the Gupshup dashboard.

  • API URL: Enter the API URL in this field.

To receive delivery reports, the Webhook URL needs to be configured. Otherwise, you won't be able to view the reports for your SMS campaigns.

Congratulations!

You've now successfully integrated Gupshup and are ready to start sending SMS campaigns.

Delivery Reports

Lemnisk will capture the following delivery metrics when you run SMS campaigns with Gupshup:

Attempted, Sent, Delivered, Clicked and Failed. To Know more about the metrics check
