Roles

Roles gives you an overview of the configured roles in the platform, and their respective actions and accesses to the different modules. An Administrator can also add or edit a role as per the client's requirements.

The following roles will be the default roles with pre-configured actions which are editable.

  • Administrator

  • Campaign manager

  • Analyst

  • Marketer

  • Developer

Adding/Editing a role

  • Go to > Settings > User Management > Roles

  • Add Role: Click the +Add Role button on the right corner of the window and enter the following details.

    • Role: Enter the role that you want to add.

    • Description: Enter the description for the role you have entered.

    • The modules and actions will be displayed below from which you can Enable/Disable actions for that role through the check box, You can search any particular module and its respective actions from the search bar.

    • Click Save once the required changes are made. The changes will be reflected immediately.

  • Edit a Role: Go To > Settings > User Management > Roles

    • Click the Edit Icon located at the end of each role from the table and enter the following details.

    • Role: Enter the role that you want to add.

    • Description: Enter the description for the role you have Entered.

    • The modules and actions will be displayed below from which you can Enable/Disable actions for that role through the check box, You can search any particular module and its respective actions from the search bar.

    • Click Update once the required changes are made. The changes will be reflected immediately.

      Only the Admin has permission to add/remove actions for a particular role.

The entire platform is comprised of several Modules. Each module serves a definitive purpose or feature in the CDP/Marketing Automation Suite (like Channels). Subsequently, each module has a set of actions or permissions, that are available in different roles.
